The basic idea of Mentoring cell is to create a conducive environment for faculty (Mentor) and student (Mentee) relationship. In order to resolve day to day academic problems of the students the following guidelines are followed in our college. The main objective is to motivate the students and develop confidence to take up challenging tasks in their live and help the society in the nation building.

Our college believes that every student deserves an opportunity to make optimum use of her or his abilities. With this view in mind, our college has started the practice of mentoring in which every student has a mentor who will focus on the overall development of the student during the three years of graduation. Mentors go that extra mile and pay individual attention and support to each and every student.

Guidelines for Mentors

  1. Meet the group of students at least twice a month.
  2. Maintain a detail progressive record of the student.
  3. Keep contact details of students and parents.
  4. Send letter to parents/guardian for parents meet and also contact parents/guardians if situation demands.
  5. Continuously monitor, counsel, guide and motivate the students in all academic pursuits.
  6. Intimates Principal/HoD and suggest if any administrative action is called for.
  7. Mentors should maintain records of all the meetings held with mentees/ parents.
