The library is the heart of an educational institutions, and our library exemplifies this importance by collecting quality resources and disseminating knowledge through the adoption and maintenance of international standards with the latest technology. It boasts a valuable collection of resources, including 1,500 books national and international author and periodicals, such as 10 newspapers, 10 national and international journals, and magazines, as well as a wide range of open-access e-resources. The library provides a conductive environment with ample space for reading, offering more than 60 seating arrangements in a peaceful reading area, there
by promoting and encouraging study among students and research scholars. Its commitment to fostering academic excellence makes it an essential resource for the entire college community.

Rules & Regulations
- The library allows both students and faculty to borrow up to two books for a period of 15 days. After the due date, a fee of ₹1 per book per day will be charged for each day the book is
- The library operates from 9am to 4PM on all working days.
- Before obtaining the hall ticket for each end-of-semester exam, students must return all borrowed library books and obtain a no-dues certificate from the library.
4 . All the users entering the Library must keep their bags and other personal belongings at the entrance and do not leave any valuable at the bag counter .
- User Must sign into log register Enter into the Library.
6.Bags, Umbrella, Personal Books and other items, Wearing aprons or coats are not allowed inside the library.
- Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library facility.
- Students should produce their identity card while borrowing
- Students on receiving the books should check their physical condition, as they are held responsible for any damage found later.
- Silence should be strictly maintained in the Library
- Usage of mobile Phone Strictly prohibited in the Library premises.
- User are requested to co-operate in maintaining conductive atmosphere to study. Please handle library equipment with utmost care don’t mark any important on library furniture.
- The librarybooks /Journalsare not to be spoilt with an underlining.Orscribing on pages. Defaulters will be fined heavily equal to the cost of replacing of the books.
16.Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the library.
17.Library reserves the right to callback any issued book/item at anytime..
18.Loss of books, if any, should be reported to the librarian immediately and it should be replaced with a new copy. 1: 3 will be the replacement cost for loss of book.

- Reading room : library have60 well-furnished seating arrangements in a spacious, well- ventilated, and quiet area, providing an ideal environment for enthusiastic readers to engage in study and research..
- Periodical: library provide a comprehensive collection of scholarly national and international open access and print journals, magazines, and newspapers (in both English and Kannada), fostering an environment that encourages research and study.
- Reprographics :Library offer reprographics services in the library, providing photocopying, scanning, and printing of books, question papers, and notes for students and faculty.
- CAS : Library provide the latest updates in respective fields for students and faculty through our Current Awareness Services (CAS) in the library.
- Reference Service : The library provides reference services designed to assist users in finding information and answering research questions, utilizing the library’s reference collection, which includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, and specialized databases..(Reference Books are spine labeled with Red colour for Identification )
- Lending : Stack books will be issued to students and faculty for a specified period. Books must be returned by the due date. The same book may be reissued for an additional 15 days if there is no demand. A penalty will be applied for books returned after the due date. Lending books are labeled with white spine labels for easy identification.
- Digital Resources : Library provide access to a rich collection of Scholarly open-access and subscribed e-resources like E – Books, E journals, Data bases for students ,faculty, and research scholars to enhance their knowledge, conduct research, and stay updated in their fields.
- Carrier Information : Library offer up-to-date information on job opportunities and study resources for various competitive exams through our Career Information Services in the library.
Open Access E–Resources Collection
GATEWAY TO OPEN ACCESS SCHOLARLY RESOURCES
E – Resources : Our library offers a rich collection of Scholarly E-resources, including open-access and subscribed e-books, journals, databases, and repository collections. These resources support study and research by providing users with access to a wide range of digital materials, facilitating in-depth exploration of various subjects and enhancing academic pursuits.
Students
Students have to produce their ID-card at the time of getting No-Due from the library. Those students who don’t have the ID card required to submit the ‘Without ID card student application for No due Certificate’ (Application Format -6) by paying the fee of Rs.100/-.
Students who are discontinuing/ leaving the college have to surrender their ID-Card to get the No-Due from the library and those who lost their ID card are required to produce the FIR copy of the police complaint about the loss of ID card or else to submit the ‘Without ID card student application for No due Certificate’ (Application Format -6) by paying the fee of Rs.500/-.
Staff Members / Research scholars
Staff members have to surrender their ID-Card to get the No-Due from the library or else they have to produce the FIR copy of the police complaint about the loss of ID card.
ID CARD / LIBRARY CARDS
The Institution ID card is the member identification and key to accessing facilities and services at MITM. The Institution ID card is issued to students, staffs and research scholars of the institution.
The Institution ID card will serve as:
- Your Identity Card,
- Your Library card,
- Access card to campus facilities and services.
