The Department of Computer Applications at MIT Degree College, Mysore, conducted a two-day workshop on R Programming for Beginners on July 3rd and 4th, 2025, exclusively for final-year students. The workshop focused on introducing the basics of R, a powerful language used for statistical computing and data analysis. With sessions led by experienced faculty from the Department of Information Science and Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology, students gained practical exposure to data manipulation, visualization, and programming logic.

Held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the workshop aimed to build foundational skills relevant to data science and analytics careers.
