BCA is an undergraduate level programme facilitating multiple career paths. Students so graduated, can take up postgraduate programmes in CS or MCA leading to research as well as R&D, can be employable at IT industries, or can pursue a teaching profession or can adopt a business management career. BCA aims at laying a strong foundation of computer applications at an early stage of the career. There are several employment opportunities and after successful completion of BCA, graduating students can fetch employment directly in companies as Programmer, Web Developer, Software Engineer, Network Administrator, Data Scientist, or AI/ML personnel.

Our goal is to shape our students into globally competent individuals who can confront the challenges of technology and innovation. They will be well-prepared to enter the workforce immediately upon completion of their studies. In order to prepare our students for the present and next global standards, every effort is being made to instill in their professional ethics and social values. The department focuses on skills upgrading and multidisciplinary activities apart from regular curricular activities.

Problem Analysis : Identify, formulate and analyze computing problems to arrive at substantiated conclusions using fundamentals of computer science and application domain.
Design / Development of solutions: Design applications or process to meet desired specifications and needs.
Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of solutions in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
Modern Tool Usage: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern IT tools with an understanding of the limitations.
Communication Skills: Speak, read, write and listen clearly in person and through electronic media in English and in one Indian language, and make meaning of the world by connecting people, ideas, books, media and technology.
Ethics: Understand and commit to professional ethics and cyber regulations, responsibilities, and norms of professional computing practices.
